Buccaneers Fill RB Gap with Steelers' Gainwell

It did not take long for Tampa Bay to address its running back depth.
This is Joe Smeltzer for Bucs Roundtable.
When the Bucs decided to let Sean Tucker become an unrestricted free agent, that should have been a pretty good indicator that they had something in the works, and voila.
Free agency period opens, and about an hour after that, Kenneth Gainwell is a Tampa Bay Buccaneer.
Gainwell had a modest career with the Philadelphia Eagles, but last season, playing for relative peanuts with the Pittsburgh Steelers, he really went off.
He had almost a thousand yards of all-purpose offense and was named Steelers' Team MVP for his efforts.
Now, Gainwell isn't the type of back like Bijan Robinson that Zach Robinson, the new Bucs coordinator, had in Atlanta, but he doesn't have to be.
All he has to do is be a great complement to Bucky Irving when healthy and give the Bucs a formidable option if Irving isn't healthy or is ineffective for any other reason.
Gainwell did that, and now the Bucs' running back depth situation appears to be solved, and the team can go after other areas of need in free agency.
Hint, hint, pretty much anywhere on the defense.
