But this is kind of what we're looking at right now, like a, a rough view of the wide receiver depth chart.
Now, it's obviously not perfect.
I don't know if Hutchinson exactly slots into the second guy and, you know, this isn't taking into account as much like the slot receiver and stuff like that.
I just kind of have it lined up as the top four receivers in the room right now.
But I'd love to hear your thoughts on this room and, you know, if you think the Texans absolutely need to add a wide receiver, because there have been a lot of trade rumors, a lot of free agency rumors ever since we got the news around Jayden Higgins.
It's tough.
I mean, obviously they have several options of which they can go, and I think all of them aren't that bad of options, but obviously most people probably want a trade.
You know, it depends on what you want to do.
Are you looking to try your best to actually replace Jayden Higgins?
The only option there that, to actually replace him, which still may not even replace him, would to be target Marvin Harrison Jr.
Which as people are stating, it doesn't sound very realistic and probably isn't.
It's, it's against the nature of Nick Caserio being super aggressive.
But, you know, I guess I will say though, like the one time that Nick Caserio and Demica Ryans have made a very aggressive trade was for the number three overall pick, it was with the Cardinals.
So maybe you can kind of use that to kind of, you know, hope, help your hopes there.
You know, Monte Austin, fourth overall, is the, the GM there.
Maybe there's a good relationship.
But that would be like a one for one replacement.
People say, "Okay, you do that, well now what's like the issue next year?"
You know, you still would have, you know, under contract right now you only have Nico Collins, and Jalen Noel really, 'cause Tank Dell is on expiring contract, so is Xavier Hutchinson, and now you got Jayden Higgins coming off an injury.
So, it would make sense, you know, you'd probably trade at least a first and maybe some more, which I personally would be open to honestly, and that would signal like your win now and you go in for it.
But again, the Cardinals have to oblige, but it would make sense for them.
They're NFC, they're potentially tanking, but I don't know that they, that they would do it.
Michael Wilson over there too, I would do.
But, but back to, Marvin Harrison Jr., I mean, he's the number four overall pick a couple years ago.
He's got two years left on his deal, plus you can exercise a fifth-year option, and that's three cost controlled years on a premium position.
