Michael, the draft combine has a lot of different activities and exercises for the players.
When it comes to these challenges, which ones do you think are the most important?
Well, a couple.
The, the Wingate test is great because it really tests your maximum, how much you can give in a 40-second shift.
And for teams looking at, you know, what the prospects can do on the ice, this is a good measure of how much power and energy they exert.
But for me, I like the pull-up, Ryan, and it's because I don't even care how many you can do, I just wanna see them struggle.
I wanna see them reach for another rep of the pull-up.
And famously, we saw Sam Bennett wasn't able to do a single pull-up, but then used that experience to get stronger at the pull-up, and next time he saw the Florida Panthers and other teams at the draft, was telling them, "Hey, by the way, I couldn't do one pull-up back then.
Why don't you test me right now?
I can do 10.
Let's do it."
And now he has lifted the Stanley Cup a couple of times.
