2 NHL Prospects You NEED to Watch in the Calder Cup Final
The Calder Cup Final is here, and were highlighting two exciting young prospects that collectors should be paying attention to right now.

The Calder Cup Final in the American Hockey League gets underway tonight, the time of our recording here.
The Chicago Wolves, Carolina's AHL affiliate, and the Toronto Marlies, the Maple Leafs' AHL affiliate, head-to-head in the Calder Cup Final.
So I wanted to pick a prospect from each team that has some good options as far as cards are concerned, that is at a good point in his career where maybe it's time to start taking a look, where's this guy gonna, gonna land in the future, guys who have recent cards that a lot of you out there have probably either gone out and found in singles boxes, sought out on eBay, or maybe you've pulled their cards from, from packs in the last couple of years.
Two guys, both forwards, both drafted in 2023 late in the first round, and both just turned 21 in May.
We'll start it with Toronto's Easton Cowan.
He has an NHL debut jersey card in extended series.
He was a young gun in series two this year.
This season, played 66 games in the National Hockey League.
There was a pretty good opportunity for him to have a somewhat consistent role at the NHL level.
Had 29 points, including 11 goals.
Only played four regular season games in the American Hockey League, had three points in those games.
But look at his Calder Cup playoff numbers.
13 points in 17 games, including seven goals, and he had a goal in the decisive game six conference final win that Toronto had over the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.
His '25-'26 series two young gun, that's from this year, card number 462.
Raw, it's about a $10 to $15 card.
'25-'26 Upper Deck extended the canvas Young Guns.
They're selling for around 30 bucks raw right now.
A lot of you are probably pulling that card, or if you It, it's a good card to pull.
Hopefully, you're pulling that card.
in the last nine days at the time of our recording, sales of two of his NHL debut patches, the non-autographed version, have gone for $107.50 and $216.15 per card ladder.
So couple of those have sold.
In an autographed version, number 53 of 53, his jersey number, sold for $719.86.
So some good movement on Easton Cowan cards.
Keep an eye on him and the Toronto Marlies in the Calder Cup Final as it is set to get going.
And, again, that's valuable experience for any young player.
Championship experience, big game experience, and hey, the playoffs are difficult at every level.
To have that kind of production at that age, again, in a Calder Cup playoff run, that's nothing to be taken lightly.
He's having a good post-season run with Toronto Marlies.
And the same thing can be said for Bradley Nadeau of the Chicago Wolves, and we've talked about him this season on Nonsense on Ice.
He was the 30th overall pick by Carolina in 2023.
Chicago is Carolina's AHL affiliate.
Two picks after the aforementioned Easton Cowan.
Now, for Bradley Nadeau, only 12 games in the National Hockey League this year.
He scored three goals in those 12 games, but look at Carolina.
Look where they are right now.
They're in the Cup Final.
That's a very veteran team.
Just not as much opportunity for Bradley Nadeau to crack that lineup this season.
52 games in the American Hockey League though this year, 56 points, so over a point a game, scored 27 goals in those 52 games in the AHL.
Last year as a 19-year-old, he had 32 goals in 64 games.
So Bradley Nadeau can put the puck in the net.
not the biggest guy on the ice, but he's an exciting player with big offensive upside.
His '24-'25 Upper Deck series one, card number 208, the Young Gun, it's about a $3 to $5 raw card.
His Upper Deck Exclusives Young Gun, number 200, sold raw back on June 7th for $122.50.

So couple of prospects to keep an eye on there.
They're gonna be going head-to-head in the Calder Cup Final.
They're the same age from the same draft.
One was the 28th pick, one was the 30th pick.
Both first-rounders, both with high offensive upside, both are exciting.
Easton Cowan of Toronto, Bradley Nadeau of the Chicago Wolves, and, we'll see how things play out as far as that series.
