Are you buying or selling the Caleb Downs hype?
I would say I'm buying with a caveat.
I would say it is unfair to ask Caleb Downs to be a perfect defensive back year one, especially considering that he's not really gonna play the same role that he played at Ohio State.
He's gonna be asked to play primarily at nickel, and not with this versatile safety role where he could move all around the defense.
So I'm buying.
I'm buying on the Caleb Downs hype, but I'm also asking for some patience for, from Cowboys Nation on this front.
that being said, I do expect him to be one of the players with the highest snap count on the Cowboys defense, even in week one.
I think this dude is gonna come in and he And, and they're just not gonna take him off of the field.
They're just not gonna do that.
I think Caleb Downs is NFL ready by the time the season starts.
