How much a college athletic department raises and funds from donors is a big deal these days, especially in terms of the revenue sharing.
You got to pay athletes these days, and some of these athletes are getting a good quarterback gets well over a million dollars.
So, uh, You have to get money from somewhere and it comes from those donors who are willing to contribute that amount.
So the revenue sharing in the NIL , uh, those are ways that you are able to attract the top players.
Now, it's not the only way.
The, the school itself, the coach himself, certainly play a factor, and, and, and players will usually tell you that it's not the money amount that really attracts them in the final analysis to the school they choose, although, I don't know.
I got to imagine that the moneys, plays a major factor in their decision too.
So, schools that have a lot of money to spend, that have a lot of heavy donors, they can throw a lot of money out at potential transfers or, or, or high school players coming out of high school that will be freshmen.
There's a lot of impact that the fundraising has on how successful a program can be on the field or on the court.
