It might be a little early for a, "Oh, he made the team," declaration, but wow, was Kamdyn Brown something in the Saturday night Cowboys preseason debut at Seattle.
The Cowboys win 17 to seven at Lumen Field on Saturday in both teams' first preseason game of the year, and the wide receiver, Kamdyn Brown, UDFA rookie out of Georgia Southern, made two circus catches, touchdown catches, to key this victory.
Sam Howell and Joe Milton split time at quarterback for the Cowboys, and like the Seahawks, Cowboys sat all their stars and most of their starters.
The, the week one guys will play in week one, and that'll be about it.
For Sam Howell, eight of 12 for 94 yards.
Milton, 12 of 15 for 107 yards and showed that running ability too.
Also showed some, some touch pass ability.
Each of them completed their lone touchdown pass to Brown.
He totaled three catches for a game high 62 yards.
Cowboys defensive second and third stringers got off to a bit of a rough start, but in the end only gave up seven points.
Cowboys on special teams, some brain cramps, reminding us very much of last year.
In Seattle's case, they used two quarterbacks as well, Drew Lock and Jalen Milroe.
Cowboys held Seattle to just 49 passing yards between those two quarterbacks.
The breakout guy of this game, and we'll, we'll see how it works when it comes down to the 53-man roster, the breakout guy of this game, of course, Kamdyn Brown.
A highlight reel night for him.
He's had a good training camp over the course of, the last couple weeks in Oxnard.
Spent three years at Auburn from '22 to '24.
Never had more than 10 catches in a season there.
Then in 2025, he goes to Georgia Southern and leads the Sun Belt with 14 touchdown catches, over 1,000 yards, and maybe now a chance to make the Dallas Cowboys roster.
On the Cowboys and the Heal- Seahawks Fish, out.
