Carlos Mendoza, Christian Scott and Hayden Senger talk game of 'firsts' in Mets third straight win

The long road to recovery for Christian Scott finally culminated in his first MLB win as the Mets downed the Marlins 6-1. Manager Carlos Mendoza feels adding to his pitching repertoire will make Scott more effective as he continues to progress. Mendoza was also thrilled for backup catcher Hayden Senger , who clubbed his first big league HR, smiling the whole way around the bases. Senger did humorously resort to "begging" the ball to go out when it initially left his bat.
