Carlos Ulberg: 'Nothing was going to stop me' in title victory at UFC 327

Carlos Ulberg captured the vacant UFC light heavyweight title at UFC 327, delivering a decisive main-event outcome in Miami. Hobbled by an apparent right knee injury, the City Kickboxing fighter dropped Jiri Prochazka with a left hook and ended the bout at 3:45 of Round 1. The UFC 327 main event at Kaseya Center concluded with follow-up punches after the knockdown, securing the light heavyweight belt for Ulberg. In a post-fight UFC interview, he said nothing would stop him and that the knee “gave out.” There was no immediate prognosis; speculation referenced a possible torn ACL. Assessment will determine timing for a first title defense.
