Caruth reacts to runner-up: 'Really wanted to get that one'
Rajah Caruth reflects on finishing second at Nashville after Layne Riggs gets by him in the closing laps of the Allegiance 200.

And Rajah Caruth comes home in second place here tonight as the 34's bearing down on you on those final laps.
Was there anything different you could have done?
Yeah, I mean, I was trying to make this thing as, as wide as possible obviously on the tires advantage, but that was a great call by Brian.
I, I think we were, we were strong just, starting in the back obviously with no qualifying kind of impacted our night and we got the truck, you know, really, really strong there.
Just needed I don't know, may- there's probably some things I should've done better there.
But h- huge congrats to Lane obviously.
He's done a great job and, and they're the championship, they're so glad to give, these hendricars.com inspired guys a, a good result.
Huge thanks to Mr. H and Ms. Linda and everybody at, at Spire, Jeff, Bill, Dan, and Cassidy and everybody.
And really wanna get that one obviously for, everybody that was at KBM, obviously, KB's family and, and whatnot.
So, close but, yeah, still happy for Lane.
He did a great job and, truck was fast, I just, didn't close it out.
First truck race of the season obviously, but you hop back in and it looks like you haven't missed a beat when it comes to Nashville.

What is it about this place that allows you to have the success you do?
I don't know.
I mean, it's, it's a place where it's got the speed of a mile and a half, but, it's smaller and the banking's different, so And, and I, I really like the concrete track.
So, I don't know.
But I prepared for it like any other race and, yeah, wanted to get a trophy tonight.
I, I, yeah, so close.
But, proud of the effort, proud of the team and, had a lot of fun battling for the lead.
And Rajah will have a chance to get another guitar in the O'Reilly race tomorrow if he can get it done.
