After The Checkers: Brady Bacon Gets Another Top Five With High Limit At Davenport
Brady Bacon has been running up front in anything he drives this season, and at Davenport on Monday with Interstate Batteries High Limit Racing he finished fourth.

After the checkers, the Iowa Lottery Duel at Davenport wrapped up tonight.
Kyle Larson gets the win.
man, who was up there?
It was, Gio Scelzi, Brent Marks on the podium.
You came home fourth there at the end, Brady Bacon in the TKH 21. first of all, just talk me through what it's like going to a new track for the first time, right?
L- so many of these guys this year haven't been here, including you.
what was it like, you know, encountering it for the first time and, and, and how did it race?
Yeah, it was definitely I thought it would move up quicker than it did, and I think everybody did, and it was kinda low in qualifying, and I think we had a, a lot of people had to adjust our car for that.
and then it got kerbed up pretty big, and then it was really spotty in the feature, but you had a lot of options and, so Kyle kind of excels when you have give him too many options, and he got out to the lead.
We had a I think we had a really good car, probably could've ran second if things went our way.
But we got by Brent, the yellow came out, and then we just got kinda shuffled back on a couple of those restarts, and just took me a while to get by Rico and Wrightson, and it was over.
So, it was really Like, race really fast for how little it was and things happened, you know, before you knew it, and you had to make quick decisions.
And there at the end, we finally got in a rhythm there and, and picked those last two guys off.
But yeah, a really cool, racy track and, yeah, it kept us, kept everyone on their toes, I think.
Yeah.
it's been a great couple of days for you.
Obviously, you were, you went over to Knoxville, won the Corn Belt Clash with USAC, come over here, and run top five with High Limit.
I think it's your third top 10 with us this year.
You've had great runs with The Outlaws.
That's what I wanna ask you.
Is it just second nature for you to just hop back and forth between the wing and the non-wing?
It's just, it's just what you're so used to now?
I feel like before Logan started doing it this year, you were really, like, the main guy that even does it at all anymore.
Yeah.
I mean, it just took us a while to get our wing programs where they needed to be to be running up front.
It wouldn't have mattered if we were running non-wing or not.
It just took time to get everything, our package together, get our motors right, get our cars right, both the 20 and the 21.
So, but yeah, the non-wing, you just hop in and same old thing.
I've done it forever.
Yeah.
So, that's definitely Especially at a place like Knoxville.
The wing stuff helps you when you go to those bigger tracks.
That's kind of why we're good at Eldora and Knoxville and stuff like that.
Last time we'll see you for a while, but you have a, a very busy, month.
Where are you heading this month?
Yeah.
We're gonna go to Pennsylvania here for four days, then I actually take a weekend off and race with my son.
But then I run a lot of races in Pennsylvania.
I run all of Eastern Storm, which is six races in six days, and then follow that up with Pennsylvania Speedweek, which is 10 races in 10 days.
