From your opinion, just w- it seems like why are the 49ers affected by injuries at a disproportionate rate?

you know, look, I, I think when you, when you look at the history of the NFL, every team's had to deal with seasons like that, where you're kinda plagued by the injury bug, whatever it may, may mean.

and, and if somebody says that this is the reason, and they give you one reason, I don't usually listen to those people, you know?

Yeah.

It's, it There's too many variables that go on with a game like, like, you know, professional football- Mm-hmm ... to say that this is why s- you know, a team's getting hurt.

so I, you know, I don't have an answer for, for any whys.

I just know I'm really proud of the team we were on.

You know, even the guys that were hurt were great leaders throughout the whole year, provided extreme value to our team, and I think the standard that, the guys on our team set, trickled down into the younger guys, and they stepped up in major ways.

It was really inspiring to see how many rookies stepped up and balled out, how many, you know, second-, third-year guys that hadn't played a whole lot of meaningful snaps came in and, picked up right where, where, right where some other guys left off.

And, you know, obviously, it didn't end the way we wanted to, but it was a, you know, one of the most, proudest I've been in my career to, to be a part of a team.
