The Commanders need to make another addition to their offensive line

Sean Anderson explains why the Commanders need to add another offensive lineman before the season

Video Transcript

It wouldn't surprise me if they tried to take another shot at finding another offensive lineman, because the reports out of the Baltimore practices on Wednesday have been horrid.

They actually might need to keep swinging at offensive line, and there might be more than o- just Trent Scott and Andrew Wylie on the chopping block.

Because if they're saying how I- if the practice was as bad as reported, and I know that practices can be tailored towards a defense, and I know they can be disadvantaged towards an offense depending on what you're doing and what drills you're running.

But I wouldn't be surprised if they tried to add another tackle, another guard, make a big swing, pull a guy out of retirement.

Is this the time where we see Taylor Decker get a deal?

Do we see Washington say, "Hey, seriously, big man, we're gonna pay you more than we need to pay you"?

'Cause it's starting to look like they do.

I'm not trying to make this a big offensive line rant.

I think that we should stave away making the offensive line the boogeyman.

But there are some reporters here in DC that I really trust to give the straight shoot about what's going on in practice and how this team's actually looking, and it's not good.

I want to be delicate with this because if you start a narrative about the offensive line ruining the team, then it'll never change throughout the rest of the season.

So we have to be delicate with it.

But I think Washington should be interested in making another addition
