Cowboys get defensive help with Downs at No. 11

The Ohio State University is having a hell of a night at the twenty twenty six NFL Draft.
Four players taken in the first eleven picks.
The latest Cowboys move up from number twelve to number eleven to get safety Caleb Downs.
A clear position of need.
Any defensive position will help.
That defense was so bad last year.
Offense is great.
Defense needs help.
Down's a guy that they had been linked to and instead of taking their chances because someone else could have moved to number eleven, that's why we sometimes see a team just move up one spot just in case that team is gonna trade the pick to someone else.
Let's move up a spot.
They give up two fifth-round picks.
They get the guy that they wanted, the guy that they needed.
That defense doesn't need to get much better to turn the Cowboys into a playoff contender, especially when you consider how good that offense is.
So Cowboys doing what they need to do, giving up a couple of picks, but I think they'll be very happy to emerge with Caleb Downs, a guy who could become a superstar safety in the National Football League
