Nfl rumors: Is Washington Commanders head coach Dan Quinn on the hot seat?
After taking the Washington Commanders to the NFC Championship with a twelve-five record in his first season behind rookie QB Jayden Daniels, Dan Quinn looked like a genius.
But last year, just five wins.
Now league executives are telling Jason La Canfora that Quinn is squarely on the hot seat heading into twenty twenty-six.
There's talk of a reported rift with GM Adam Peters, plus a major coaching staff overhaul this off-season.
Cliff Kingsbury and others let go.
That's usually a sign a coach is fighting for his job.
Quinn's defense ranked dead last in yards allowed last season, and his track record with the Falcons shows the same pattern: early success followed by a steep drop-off.
With a franchise QB on a cheap rookie deal and a strong GM in place, if Washington doesn't bounce back this fall, even with a healthy Daniels, Quinn could be out after just two years.
That would make the Commanders one of the most attractive head coaching jobs in twenty twenty-seven.
