Dana White denounces Josh Hokit’s derogatory remarks toward Michelle Obama

UFC heavyweight Josh Hokit faced criticism from promotion leadership following a post-fight interview that included controversial remarks during an event in Washington, D.C. After stopping Derrick Lewis in the second round at UFC White House, Hokit praised Donald Trump and then made a claim about Michelle Obama. The comments came in conversation with Joe Rogan, and UFC CEO Dana White later rebuked the remarks in a statement to Time. Hokit improved to 4-0 with back-to-back wins over Curtis Blaydes and Lewis after earning a contract on Dana White's Contender Series last August. It is currently unclear whether disciplinary action will follow.
