Dana White: UFC White House card will proceed through inclement weather
UFC will stage an outdoor fight card at the White House on June 14, marking an uncommon venue decision by Dana White. The UFC White House event on the South Lawn is scheduled to be headlined by a lightweight title bout between Ilia Topuria and Justin Gaethje. The co-main event features Alex Pereira vs Ciryl Gane for the interim heavyweight title. White said the card will proceed in rain or cold, with lightning as the only condition that would pause action until it passes. He shared the update in a conversation with Adin Ross. White added that Saturday's UFC 327 broadcast on Paramount will offer the first look at the South Lawn setup.
