Days after brawl, Tsarukyan-Poullas grappling rematch set for Hype FC in Brazil

Hype FC announced a 10-minute, submission-only grappling match between Arman Tsarukyan and Georgio Poullas for March 11 in Rio de Janeiro. The bout at Farmasi Arena follows their chippy Real American Freestyle 6 meeting in Tempe, Arizona, where Tsarukyan won and a melee erupted after he tackled Poullas and threw a punch. The card also features Jorge Masvidal vs. Sharabutdin Magomedov in another grappling match, with UFC featherweight Jean Silva expected. Tsarukyan, a top lightweight contender, is coming off a submission of Dan Hooker at UFC Qatar in November and withdrew from a title shot in January 2025. Poullas is a former Division I wrestler and online personality.
