Is it just easy to say ownership with Stephen Ross and with Wayne Izinga that has turned that program into one of the worst programs in football?
You know, to back up your point, I grew up in the '70s, okay?
People always-- And I g- I was born and raised in New York, and people always ask me, "Why are you a Cowboy fan?"
Well, my father wasn't a g- a football fan at all.
The Giants and Jets sucked in the '70s, so if you didn't like the local team, you liked Pittsburgh, the Raiders were big, Broncos, Cowboys, and the Dolphins.
All right?
Those are the five huge teams in the '70s.
Every Then Marino in the '80s, that's where all the Dolphin fans came from.
My stepfather was a Dolphin fan here.
So what happened here?
I think it's a combination of all.
I don't think the ownership's been terrible.
Maybe a bit more absentee.
I do think Ross wants to win.
He's gone about it the wrong way.
The Brady situation, what he was going on there behind the scenes, you know, but he was trying.
I guess if you ain't cheating, you ain't trying here.
I don't think their drafting has been great.
Listen, they went out and got Tua.
They thought he was the answer, Dan.
He wasn't the answer, right?
Could-- Never really built for pro football here, so it is what it is here.
So I think it's a combination of things.
Tough division as well.
