Detroit Lions’ Jared Goff: The Most Disrespected Star QB in the NFL?
He doesn't have the flash of Patrick Mahomes or the hype of Josh Allen , but Jared Goff keeps stacking 4,500-yard seasons and franchise records in Detroit . At what point does consistent excellence stop being overlooked and start being undeniable?

This is an article to all my Jared Goff haters, because I know there's a lot out there.
I know a lot of them are saying, "Oh, he can't move around the pocket.
Oh, he's slow," this, that, "Oh, oh, he's not clutch, can't make the big throws.
If he's pressured, he..." Yeah.
Well, he's got a lot of amazing stats that disprove all those theories, and I know we would love Goff to run around the pocket, but what his stats and numbers have posted are just as good.
We just saw Sam Darnold win the Super Bowl.
We've seen Nick Foles.
We've seen Joe Flacco.
There's plenty of quarterbacks that aren't mobile or have a crazy good arm that have won the Super Bowl.
And does it happen often?
Not so much, but it can happen.
So Jared Goff is one of the most, if not the most, underrated quarterback in the NFL.
He's got the numbers, the stats to back it up.
Three straight years throwing over four thousand yards, has just been an absolute beast.
Led the Lions to two playoff wins, and I really don't fault him for not getting us to the Super Bowl in that NFC Championship game.
Jahmyr Gibbs fumbled.
Kendall Wildor had the ball bounce off his face.
Josh Reynolds dropped two fourth-and-one passes.
It's like Goff got him there, and the rest of the team could not finish.
So I truly do believe if we surround Goff with a gr- you know, a good defense, we already have the elite offense, he's a legit Super Bowl quarterback, and I'll stand on that.
So Jared Goff also holds the record for best passer rating in franchise history.
He also had a game where he went eighteen for eighteen and two hundred and ninety-two yards.
Now, that's the most yards without an incompletion in NFL history by a wide margin.
And just to think about that, nearly three hundred yards, doesn't have a single incomplete pass?
I don't care who you're playing.
It's the NFL.
These dudes are legit stars on every team.
So for Goff to be able to do that, you just gotta tip your cap at it.
So we will see what happens with Jared Goff and the Lions, but as of now, I believe he's one of the more underrated quarterbacks, if not the most underrated quarterback in the NFL.
