Well, Tris, the fascinating, market here for the game of the night on NBCSN and Peacock 8:00 PM Eastern tip for the Tempo versus the Dream.
And we have one-way aggressive market action here in favor of the Dream.
I understand the incentives are not stacked equally here as the Dream are on their way to a playoff spot and the Tempo are looking for, you know, basically draft help.
But what is the buy point as we are now looking at a 14 and a half point spread between two teams that don't feel like they're 14 and a half points apart?
Yeah, it's, it's tough because it's You really can't see any of the motivation for the Tempo to fight here.
This team was just a two and a half point dog to Portland, and they went down 27 points before fighting their way back to lose by 14.
Toronto's got a lot of good pieces.
They have a lot of players on this roster.
Many of them, though, have been in and out of the lineup because of injury.
The most notable injury is Brittany Sykes, who is one half of their million-dollar ba- max contract back court.
She probably would've made an all-star team if she was healthy, so that hurts them a lot.
They had Kiki Rice, who's just coming back from injury.
She got injured.
I mean, you're talking about injuries as being one of the biggest reasons that they've lost eight in a row.
But I think they're gonna continue to lose because this defense has been one of the worst in the league, especially allowing teams to get busy in the paint.
Bottom two at that, and that is Atlanta's best feature.
They are number one in the league, 44 points per game in the paint.
You add that to some frustration that Atlanta must be feeling coming off of a, a tough loss against the Washington Mystics.
To me, this feels like pound town.
To me, this feels like 16 and a half is the end by spot, but you gotta get in now because this feels like it's getting steamed over and over again.
Fair enough.
