Just to let everyone know, it was very nice in Port St. Lucie this weekend.
But just a few highlights, just to run through them quick.
Nolan McLain's live batting practice on the main field was a show.
Him and Juan Soto kind of messing with each other, like, that is, that's elite on elite kind of, kind of action.
And staying on the topic of Juan Soto, the vibe that we kinda talked about on last week's show of what, what he is, it showed- Yeah this weekend.
He is around everybody.
I talked to, Nick Morabito a little bit in the locker room, and A.J.
Ewing in the locker room, as well as on the interview, and they both were like, "Juan Soto, you know, talked to us and gave us some, some pointers."
And Luis Robert, absolute physical specimen.
I know it's just batting practice, but hitting a 470-foot home run, even in BP, just an absolute freak show.
And as long as the Mets could just keep that lower body together and keep him on the field, I have really high hopes for him.
on the backfields, watched a couple live batting practices.
Christian Scott looking pretty good, but Francisco Alvarez pulling a homer off a fastball on him, like Alvie being Alvie.
And Jorge Polanco also took him deep as well, but overall he looked pretty good.
Devin Williams, watched a live BP of his.
Nasty.
He was not getting touched.
I know they're just live BPs, but- Right a, a lot of good signs coming out of Port St. Lucie, where I was just there for a couple of days.
