Staying on the topic of the outfield, I've campaigned for probably the last two years for the Mets to get Luis Robert Jr.
They finally do.
Comes to spring training, I think a lot of things look really good.
How smart will I look in a few months, in your opinion?
I feel like that's up to his hamstrings, but I, I think- yeah I mean, if he's out there, you're gonna look really smart.
David Stern's gonna look really smart.
You know, like I know everyone said this who was down there, but he just never missed in live batting practice.
I mean, it was like line drive after line drive after line drive after home run.
So it's all there.
I think Soto is a really good influence.
we'll see how much that plays out.
It's not like he's, like, that much older than him or, you know, they're, they're kind of the same age.
But I do think just he's kind of taken him under his wing or taken some awareness of, like, let's help this guy be what he can be, and that can only help.
So I think you'll look really smart if, you know, obviously if healthy, but it does seem like the Mets are taking a different approach to the, like, keeping him healthy process than the White Sox did.
So I, I would expect things to be, you know He, he'll miss some time.
It just feels inevitable.
But what you get out of him, and if you can get 120 games of peak Luis Robert Jr. and get him in October, I mean, that's, that's season changing.
