Expect defenses to take over in ND vs. Wisconsin

All roads are leading to game day this weekend, Vaughn, and Notre Dame opens up at a neutral site, Lambeau Field, against a Wisconsin team looking to bounce back from- a couple of rough seasons.
Both teams are expected to field top-tier defenses, which is exactly why the total opened up at a modest 47 and a half.
What does this say about how you see this game going?
Yeah, I expect the total to continue to drop too, Trista.
I mean, it's already at some other sports books we're seeing 46 and a halves pop up.
We could see 45 and a halves by Saturday or Sunday.
But we know this Wisconsin offense was the second worst in the country last year.
12.8 points per game, only ahead of UMass.
That is some single A high school activity.
But I'm gonna be honest, I'ma have a hot take here that probably could get me in trouble.
Colton Joseph, the quarterback for Wisconsin, could be the second-best quarterback Wisconsin's had since Russell Wilson.
That's 2011.
It's been a long time, and what I'm saying isn't a shocker, 'cause the Badgers' quarterbacks have been doo-doo.
Nobody has been outstanding for this team, but Joseph himself, an Old Dominion transfer, he had over 1,000 yards on the ground last year, 13 scores.
He threw over 2,600 yards, 21 touchdowns.
That's a dynamic quarterback that Wisconsin hasn't had.
Now, Notre Dame is not a cakewalk, though.
I mean, they have probably the best defense in the country, the most elite secondary arguably on paper, so it's gonna be hard.
And when you look at Notre Dame offensively, they're replacing Jeremiah Love, Jadarian Price.
It's gonna be hard with all that running back production gone, even though the offensive line is a stud and C.J.
Carr is a Heisman contender.
I'm gonna say the under is the play here.
Wisconsin's defense could make this interesting, and Notre Dame's defense could shut Wisconsin down, so the under is definitely the best bet.
