The change that you did see, I know that we saw the struggles with Chris Ash tr-taking over for Al Golden, who went to the Cincinnati Bengals.
But the one positive change that we did see in Ash's direction was that they became a much better defense in terms of stopping the run.
You have Bowen back, you have the Liam Evasa back, you have Osberry, you have, Sneed, you have Ferriimo.
That linebacker room is maybe the best, I would say it's the best, in all of college football.
You also have a revamped interior defensive line led by Jason Onyea, Armel Mukum, Elijah Hughes, but also with obviously Francis Brew and Teon Gray now in the mix.
There's no reason for me to believe that Notre Dame won't, like, once again be very good in stopping the run under Chris Ash in 2026, but they will have a test in that game one.
Clearly, Wisconsin has an identity that they are trying to assimilate this off-season.
Notre Dame can't let it stop them.
Notre Dame needs to take that identity and say, "Not today.
Today, we dictate the identity of your offensive football team."
