The Florida Gators are surging for this three-star defender, and I think we need to talk about him a little bit more.
Kamari Whitfield, the cornerback safety out of Orlando, Florida, has been trending to the Gators for some time, and even though Nebraska has been pushing as of late, it has not impacted how confident many are that the Gators are going to land him.
He just received a expert prediction, a crystal ball from 24-7 Zach Bolstein, and he also has five expert predictions from multiple on three insiders, including those from Gators Online and national recruiting experts.
Now, what this means is they would add another talented defender to that secondary as they're trying to rebuild it in the image of Brad White.
And Whitfield can be a little bit of everything.
He can play corner, he can play star.
I think he can play safety as well.
Doing all of those different things could help elevate the room as a whole.
And what is really nice about this is Whitfield is the third, or sorry, second highest ranked recruit left uncommitted in the state of Florida.
