But overall, Al, with the, the spell aside, the amount of penalties the Flyers took in such a crucial part of the season is bothersome.
It is.
I mean, to give the other team special team advantages the way they did, bad penalty at the beginning of the game.
And it's like you knew Detroit was gonna be all cylinders coming into this thing.
And I did think though, if they could just manage, just get a little Just get within that one, and then watch You know, Detroit's really had struggles going on, but they never got their game together.
Yeah, they got almost run out of the building early.
Yeah.
They were heavy, they were physical.
the Flyers were just taking hits, in that first period big time.
It was 1-1 after the first period, but a penalty to start, a, a full two minutes to start that second period.
You take another one-on-one tip, at, five on three, they get two goals right there, and, just couldn't recover from that.
But, you know, Dan Altshuler, you can't really blame him- Blame him on this one at all.
just the special teams and, and, you know, it started with Michkov on, on the first, first penalty a couple of minutes in.
Didn't start on the right foot in this game, that's for sure.
And we'll take a look at the damage that this has done in the standings.
Not as bad as it could have been.
If Columbus would have won tonight, the Flyers are out of that playoff spot.
They still remain third place in the Metro by one point.
The cushion that they had, it was a very small cushion, it's now eliminated, Scott.
Well, it's, they're still in there, so that's a, that's a positive thing.
But yeah, the Blue Jackets losing is huge, right?
