Elsewhere in the lineup though, especially on the offense, things feel bleak.
Yeah.
I mean, it's the end of, it's the end of April, so it's, y- you start to, like, look around a little bit and go, "It's, it's not that early anymore."
So, I think the main thing just You look at this team and, like, overall, they're the only team in Major League Baseball with fewer than 20 homers.
They're one of two teams without double digit stolen bases.
they're la- they're not only last in walks, they're like They're, like, everybody else is over here.
I'm, like, people who are now watching on YouTube, I'm way over here.
And they're, like, way over here.
So it's, they're, like, in their own different league in terms of not drawing walks.
and then they're last in runs scored, obviously.
So offensively, it's been a struggle.
In some of these games You know, Philadelphia's a great place to hit.
And- Yeah they, like, they're, they faced some good starting pitching in this series, but then they also faced a bullpen game and some guys coming up straight from the minors and things like that.
they still are just not hitting.
And I, I think you go to the heart of it, and we've had the Devers conversation over and over again.
We've talked a lot, a lot about Adames.
It's kind of allowed Matt Chapman to go under the radar.
Of course.
One home run through the end of April.
Yeah.
Which is not what you expect from him.
the only guy on the team with double digit walks, so he's doing something right.
But yeah, he hasn't been there.
Chapman, Devers, Adames, six home runs combined from the three of those guys.
And Devers and Adames have combined for 80 strikeouts already.
Yeah.
So you can just go through everything and it's just, you know And I know we've said this before, like, if those guys don't hit, it doesn't really matter what you get from K.C.
Schwind and Drew Gilbert and- Yeah you know, Elliott Ramos and Those are, those are their guys.
