Let's look at the Giants offense, though, tonight.
In the sixth and seventh innings, they put together some really nice rallies, and that is our Daily Jackpot, brought to you by River Rock Casino.
We're gonna start with the sixth.
Sasaki still pitching for the Dodgers at this point.
Casey Schmitt leads off the inning with a single to center.
Rafael Devers goes up the middle.
Elliott Ramos hits a line drive out to left field, right down the line.
That scored two, but this was a really good sign.
That was a really good piece of hitting right there from Rafi Devers.
That ball was a ball or two- off the plate, and he stayed back, let it travel, and he hit it to the other side.
And you mentioned this, Kylen, his worth, worst month historically in his career is April.
Yeah.
But he really starts to heat up in May.
So hopefully everybody, m- starting with him, can start heating up here in May.
That's right.
So at this point, the Giants took the lead.
However, Muncy tied the game with a home run in the bottom of the frame.
So on to the seventh, and the Giants offense comes to life yet again.
One out, bases loaded with strea- three straight singles.
Rafael Devers walks.
Giants are able to take another lead.
I mean, this was kind of a crazy inning, but then it was Will Adamas who came up later on, bases loaded, two outs, comes through with just a good piece of hitting and a base hit.
Will?
Yeah.
Well, when you string hits together, you're gonna score a lot of runs.
Mm-hmm.
I mean, sometimes you can get two hits an inning and not score, you know, every inning, and not score a run.
They strung 'em together.
There was some walks mix, mixed in there, and then they got the key hits with two strikes.
the thing that I was impressed with, they didn't chase, the fastball up on Vesia.
That's his bread and butter.
they did a good job with Sasaki.
They, they, took good swings at the slit, split.
When they got a fastball, they hit that.
They were hitting everything tonight.
It looked like a, a different team out there.
And, it was just a good win for them after winning the series going to LA.
We know they've been struggling, and they did what they had to do, and it's nice to see Devers and Adamas really get in the mix.
And the rest of the guys contributed as well.
You know what else is nice to see?
Six walks for the Giants offense, which is something that hasn't happened very often this season.
The Giants last in Major League baseball in walks for a good majority of the year, but they were able to get some walks.
They scored a run off of one, and again, when you get guys on base, whether it's via hits or the walk, good things are gonna happen.
