And we been saying this And, and R. Jeffery says, "Have you noticed now that Evans is on the 49ers, all the people who said he was great say he's mid or washed?"
Absolutely.
And anybody who thinks that Mike Evans is washed doesn't understand that he's not.
I don't, I don't wanna say doesn't know ball, but, I mean, you're, you're, you're pushing into that territory right there.
that's never been an issue or anything like that.
And, and Mike's never been fast.
Mike's never been a guy He just finds a way to, to separate.
He just does.
Like, different guys win in different ways, and it doesn't always have to be speed.
Route-running acumen doesn't come from speed.
It comes from understanding leverage and understanding when to brake and understanding what's in front of you and, and what they're playing in front of you.
And, and Mike has made a career Mike's gonna, Mike's gonna wear a gold jacket, you know, one day.
And, Kyle Juszczyk was on, NFL Network and he said he's been unguardable.
Now, I would pose this question to you, Steph.
Does that make you feel good, or does that make you feel bad that he's unguardable because- It's always like- Yeah we always have this conversation, right?
In OTAs and, and training camp because your team is going against its own, its team.
Mm-hmm.
Like, so any time, you know, one area's doing well, you're like, "Oh, no.
Should we be concerned?"
no, I'm not gonna be concerned just because it is Mike Evans.
He is that good.
so the 49ers corners could be good and could still be getting beat, by Evans.
So I'm not gonna panic about that right now.
Now, if you tell me it's other dudes getting, you know, being unguardable as well, then I'm gonna start, you know, questioning some things.
But for Mike Evans, it's okay.
Yeah.
And, and I, I was just being facetious when I was saying that.
You know, and moreover- It's a legitimate question, though.
No, it is.
Because it's like, damn, he You know, there's guys that are that Like, you know, the 49ers have to go up against Puka, and, and Davante Adams, and, you know, and JSN, and, and other guys- Oh, yeah in this, you know, in this league.
And it's like, that's a good test for them and everything.
I mean, by the way, we need to be worried about Washington if they get number 11, because- that's far, far more worrisome than facing the Los Angeles Rams twice a year or facing the defending champions twice a year.
If anybody's running from that belt, it's you bum-ass Washington Commanders fans.
But, anyway, it, it, it is I, I just believe that once, once Kyle and Brock find their shiny new toy, that they're just They're like, "Oh, wow.
You know, this works really well."
you know, and those jump balls, they're not, you know If you put them up, you're gonna put them up high.
So it's either Mike's gonna catch them, or they, they may just fall incomplete.
Like, it's not a dangerous play.
And I do think- that there is a little bit more that the 49ers are gonna try to do to get him the football because they brought him here for a reason.
