But one of their team writers.

Gentleman's name is Wes.

I believe it's Hod- Hodgewich?

I, I don't wanna ruin his last name, so I won't go too far.

But he compared Romeo Doubs, who, unfortunately, it looks like the Packers are probably gonna lose to free agency, he compared him to James Jones.

I just thought it was such a good comparison.

You know.

Neither was a superstar.

Jones was a third-round pick.

Doubs was a fourth-round pick.

At the end of the day, though, both just played such a good role.

For the Packers as kind of that utility wide receiver three.

Wide receiver two, depending on, depending on the game.

You know, so Doubs caught 202 passes for 2,424 yards and 21 touchdowns in four seasons as pick 132, which is just wonderful.

And I think, I'm guessing a lot of, kind of frustration is still.

Pointed his way because of how things went down against the Bears.

In that- with that onside kick return that he botched.

But take that away, and he was a really good player for the Packers.

And he's a good wide receiver, a solid wide receiver.

He has the ability to take over games.

We saw he had a couple touchdowns against the Cowboys, this past season.

James Jones was similar, you know?

He, he could, he could be in the background, catch a couple passes, but he also had those games where he, he'd go off for, you know, five touch- or five touchdowns, that'd be awesome.

You know, five catches, 90-something yards, touchdown.

So, really cool comparison, I thought.

I do believe Doubs is gonna be gone in free agency.

The Packers just don't have the money to pay him.

Especially, you know, since I think the reason they took Matthew Golden is so that he could step up into that position there.

So, if this is the end for Doubs, I think he had a great run with the Packers.
