Another team in first place, it's the Cleveland Guardians.
You can't afford to lose this guy, and they're gonna lose him.
Jose Ramirez heading to the IO with a left hamate bone fracture.
No, Craig, wrong time to do this.
So this, this player I would say is about as valuable to his team as, as any- I love him in baseball, right?
Like, I, I think you, the Yankees lose Aaron Judge, and you're like, all right, you know, Ben Rice and Jazz, and so I mean, who do you replace this guy with in Cleveland?
The answer is no one.
So if you're looking for a silver lining here, it's that he'll be back.
You know?
Yeah.
Like, that's it.
Like, that's the silver.
He'll be back.
But now they gotta miss a month without him.
Everybody knows with the hamate bone injuries that you come back and you don't quite have the same power, not that Ramirez had a ton this season.
But Donny, in the end, isn't the, you know, for me, again, I don't know about you, the big takeaway here- Yeah is Aaron Judge has been winning the MVP every year.
Jose Ramirez has been the runner-up or third place every year.
You have two guys that are out of the mix for the, completely out of the mix for the- Yeah American League MVP.
Ramirez to me is one of those few guys in baseball that you, you would be hard to argue that is not gonna be a Hall of Famer.
Like, I do, like, I think this guy is gonna be a bona fide Hall of Famer when his career is over.
Cleveland's gonna somehow have to piece this together.
What's the good news, Donny?
Tigers?
Twins?
Yeah.
Royals?
Just hang in there, right?
