Hodges.

At 11.

Sorry, buddy.

Racing technology provided by TrackMan.

Oh, oh.

Friendly bounce and- No worries top of the morning to you, Lee Hodges.

Spending more time over the ball, so that one's pretty thin.

At the fifth.

I think this kid's gonna be an absolute superstar.

You're gonna play good.

Be enough.

Be enough.

Certainly is.

Good shot.

Thanks.

What a corker.

Just waiting for that.

The 12th.

Haley kept this on the green.

Oh, go on.

Whoa.

Attaboys.

What do you think, inside 10 feet?

Yeah, I think that's exactly what he's thinking.

You can see that little sawn-off finish.

Look for the one-hop stop.

Oh.

About 10 inches.

Good with his putting.

It worked yesterday.

Coming into today, he's already two under through three.

Couple of nice putts, and this one's from the fairway bunker.

Right at it.

Swings the club straight up and down the pipe.

Perfect.

Kasatkin over at the par three, the 15th, playing 167.

Played 148 yards yesterday.

Front pin location gave players all sorts of fits, but not Kasatkin.

Lie looks nice for JJ.

Got that club face a mile open.

Sends this one way upstairs.

Go in.

Go in.

Go in.

Let's go, boys.

Let's go.

What is it about this hole for JJ Spaun?

He was in trouble yesterday, hole of beauty across the green.

Make birdie today, holes out.

And back to 11, Ventura, his second shot.

And this is where that upslope we talked about helped him.

Oh.

Oh.

What an effort there for Ventura.

Yeah.

Yeah, he was on that little bit of an upslope, and it's just such a benefit.

Henley.

Wow, he turned things around.

This is his second at the 16th.

Double bogey early in his round.

Fighting back with shots like that.

Fantastic stuff from Henley.

Look at how wiry this fine fescue is here, but no issue here for JJ Spaun.

Split the fairway at the 16th.

This is his second.

Pins all the way on that front portion of the green.

This has promise.

JJ Spaun.

As we continue day two here of the Rocket Classic, here's Payne Stewart at the fifth, playing a 163 today.

This hole location tucked back left.

What a great shot there.

And Cameron Young, it's been all proper, with five birdies in a row.

It ties his, career high.

He's done it four times- Wow throughout his career.

This his second at 17.

This guy is in the zone right now.

That, that was tremendous.

JJ Spaun at 18.

158 left after a perfect drive.

Well, this guy is ranked fifth on Tour in proximity, and we've seen it.

So, you're just gonna get all the great nat sounds, the, chatter between the, the golfers and the caddies, for the, for the enthusiast who doesn't need us kind of mucking it up a little bit, you know?

Great second shot there from Matt.

All he had to do was- For those who like birds and crickets.

2023.

Chris Patrick, Cantlay out of the rough here at one.

A little bit of a, another bad break, bouncing left out of the fairway and into that rough.

Playing for no spin, and plays it brilliantly.

Wow.

Yeah.

I've said sometimes you can use the rough to your advantage, and he did there.

Watching.

He's at two under on his round so far today.

Played the back first, so he's on hole number 14.

Russell Henley's third, or second at three.

Really good there.

He just pinned the respect it needed.

But like you said, it's been an up-and-down day for him.

Hey, that'll make things a little bit better.

Make up for half.

Russell said, "I'm not sure I'm gonna hit it, but I think I might."

Fair enough.

You're entitled to that.

104 for Cantlay.

Brawl.

All right, great shot.

Oh, there's a beauty there for Patrick Cantlay.

Thinking about making the cut.

Goes from thinking about winning to making the cut.

Fifth on the way.

This is on a really good line.

Just needs to get down to have some spin.

Oh, yeah.

Well, a couple of beauties here at the third.

Good shot.

All right, does Matsuyama get inside Henley?

Little Presidents Cup going here.

Ooh, that's a good one.

Find out.

He seems to be liking it.

Down after the tee.

Oh, nearly inside the cup.

Hitting his second into the 17th.

217 to go.

Looking to fly it about 210.

Back-right hole location.

Just like that Wow, what a shot Since then, three times a winner in the Players Championship now on his mantle.

Luke Clanton.

Luke Clanton.

Where have you been, Luke Clanton?

One of three players to earn his PGA Tour card via the PGA Tour University Accelerated Program.

And it's worth a listen.

Oh, he's the most entertaining guy out there, to Mary Mex.

Oh.

Oh.

Can't play.

He is dialed in.

He is dialed in, Michael.

Unable to convert.

Been hit today?

Mm-hmm.

Been hit yet?

At 12th, long hitting.

Few of them yesterday.

Marco pants 340 off the tee.

It had just been a- Oh gap wedge and it lands like a shot put.

17th hole, 538 yards of fun today, the par four.

It was almost 60 feet.

Can we see it again?

Certainly not.

Oh, go on.

Oh, go on.

Oh, come on.

That is a very hardworking three, but it gets him to double digits.

And now last week's winner, Jackson Coyman.

Just his third start as a pro.

Coyman gets a hoist of the trophy at the 3M Open.

There's Xander in second, so missed the fairway to the right.

Oh, yeah.

Good ball.

Yeah.

Be right.

Oh.

Nice shot.

Good shot.

That was very well judged.

Hit it.

Hit it.

Oh.

Hit it.

Something's clicking right here.

It's been that kind of year for Wyndham Clark.

On the tee at 11, Pontus Niholm.

Good ball.

Finished 20th, on the number, Korn Ferry Tour a year ago.

Earning his PGA Tour card.

Bacon and breaking records, the next thing you know, you're three over par.

Yes, for Svensson off the tee at 11, this is aggressive.

Yes, it is.

And a gorgeous one at that.

And it pays off.

Rounds of 64, 66, and Ryan Gerard, who's had three runner-up finishes this season, coming off a top 10 at the Open.

Flag hunting at the 15th.

Doug Gim taking a look at his putt, but first, let's go back to the 11th with Nick Dunlap.

Hit the flag.

Oh.

It does.

Boy, future stars of the PGA Tour.

Winner last week, 21-year-old Jackson Coyman.

This just moments ago on the ninth.

Carrying all that momentum from the Twin Cities here to Motown, going out in 31, his first nine.

How's that for genetics?

Harata, a chip-in birdie, his fourth of the day.

Fowler, right side of the fairway on the 10th.

Yeah, this is a pitching wedge here.

Blind second shot here, with the mounting and the bunkers up the right-hand side.

Oh, did not matter, Billy Ray.

Beautiful shot from Ricky.

Out of the bunker, Schauffele.

Yeah, lucky that ball was on the up-slope of the bunker.

126, gap wedge.

Oh, yeah.

That had some serious action on it from Schauffele.

16th, Michael Kim, fourth shot to the par four.

And somehow is gonna walk off with a par.

How about his ball striking today?

13 out of 14 greens.

Seconds ago.

And this was just seconds ago.

Koocher in there tight.

Oh, let him in for the hole in one.

Oh, yeah.

Yeah.

Put the ace on the card for Kooch.

Woo!

Hey, oh, it had your drip speed you like.

I'll tell you, this thing had eyes.

Last roll, how about it?

When?

When.

And for Kooch, he was right on that cut line.

I, it was perfect timing.

It's day two of the Rocket Classic.

Aaron, what's your read on the leaderboard right now, and what's gonna unfold this weekend?

You got a lot of It's kind of an eclectic leaderboard, honestly.

You got a long hitters, short hitters, medium-length hitters.

It's, it, it really, this golf course has showed out extremely well over the first two days.

And it's anybody's ballgame, especially with the rain coming, the weather coming potentially.

It's gonna soften up, and that's gonna compact the field even more
