How do you make it so the team doesn't change its mentality, you know, given the fact that now you're not chasing?
Yeah.
Well, that's a learning lesson, right?
You know, when you're chasing somebody, it's still hard, but when you're getting hunted, it's harder.
So it's-- we're gonna have to learn that.
You know, like, we can only worry about tomorrow's practice.
We're gonna have a little bit of a morning, practice, a short practice, and then we worry about the Devils.
I mean, that's the only way you can do it.
We can't worry about, you know I'm sure guys will watch who's winning tonight and all that stuff, but you can't worry about getting, you know That's the hardest part is, like, you're getting chased, so you start to get nervous.
So, yeah, I just-- You're right, though.
I think it's harder to be-- It's, I shouldn't say it's always hard to, to, to chase, but when you're hunted, it's really hard because now you got, you know, three or four teams coming for you.
I think this past month, just how we've been playing, it's been playoff hockey.
Tonight was, you know, playoff hockey and, for us to just stay above, you know, be disciplined, you know, not try to do something fancy or something stupid, you know, at the blue line or whatever, like I said, speaks to the growth of the team, where we wanna go, where we wanna be, just how good we can be when we play that way.
So it's, it's a huge win.
you know, these past, you know, ten or so games, they've been, you know, playoff games, and we've been playing the right way, and it's been the simple things, the little things that just kinda get us, you know, over the hump and, and in the win column.
