Jamal Adams was another one too.
Minnesota, same injury when he was with Seattle, but it was the opposite leg, believe that or not.
Now he's got another torn ACL, just unfortunate situation.
They were really looking forward to his, leadership on that defense.
I mean, Minnesota is going to have to bounce back on both sides of the ball.
I didn't think it was a particularly great defense last year.
Love their defensive coordinator, but, eh, they're gonna have to figure some things out here offensively and defensively, that is for sure.
And we're getting word that Mitch Trubisky left, practice earlier today holding his arm, his throwing arm, after a deep pass, which means we could get a lot more Will Levis for the rest of the preseason and beyond.
So Will Levis could be Cam Ward's backup heading into, the season.
I don't know that I love either of those options, quite honestly, Craig, at that point.
No, you know, I, I don't know that Will Levis is horrible.
I, I, I wanna see Will Levis play a little bit more.
I agree.
I hope I, I, I hope he gets to play, coming up.
I, I know, look, they didn't like his attitude.
I know he said that he was either a starter or nothing, and then magically went on injured reserve last year, and he missed the entire season.
He wanted to be traded.
He wanted to go somewhere else.
Yep.
You know, Will Levis was a good college quarterback, and, and it just He p- he played- Canons pretty haphazard in the NFL, and he threw a million picks.
It seemed like every time they were getting ready to score a touchdown, he'd throw a pick.
I get it, but look, Baker Mayfield was that too for a period of time.
And I'm not saying that Will Levis is Baker Mayfield.
I would just say that because I haven't seen him play enough, I'm willing to at least say, eh, maybe he is a good backup quarterback in the NFL.
I don't know the answer to that.
So I, I am not like I'm a contrarian, as it, as it pertains to Will Levis.
I'd rather see Levis play than Mitch Trubisky, truthfully.
I, I know what Mitch Trubisky is gonna be.
Right.
He's gonna ha- he's gonna hand the ball off, he's gonna run around a little bit, he's gonna get sacked, he's gonna be out three weeks.
That is exactly what he, what he does every year.
So I, I think Yeah, f- you know, look, Cam Ward, unquestioned starter, but maybe Levis has a good preseason and then can work his way, when he becomes a free agent, out of that.
It, it, it reminds me a little bit- Why not?
Of the guy on Philadelphia, McKee.
Tanner McKee.
Mm-hmm.
Seems like he plays well in preseason, he's like the preseason star, and Philadelphia keeps locking him up to be the backup.
Maybe Levis can be that guy for them or someone else
