Jayden Daniels Expected Back to Start for Commanders vs. Giants
Commanders coach Dan Quinn says Washington expects quarterback Jayden Daniels to get a full week of practice and start Sunday's must-win home game against the New York Giants. The news came after a 30-13 loss to the Colts in London. Daniels has been out since dislocating his left elbow. Marcus Mariota led a 33-31 win over Seattle in his place before spraining his left MCL. Quinn also confirmed Jaylen Lane fractured his ankle and will miss the rest of the regular season. Terry McLaurin will be evaluated further, and Sam Cosmi and Nick Cross are expected back at practice.
