Could Kenneth Gainwell open the season as the Buccaneers' lead running back? With Bucky Irving expected to ease back from offseason shoulder surgery, Gainwell has a chance to take control of the backfield thanks to his ability to run, catch, pass protect, and contribute on special teams.

I just think the combination of easing Bucky in slowly, plus just what Kenneth Gainwell can do, he's a three-down back who can run and catch and pass block.
Im- I guess a, and a four-dimensional back, I guess, if you wanna throw in the special teams stuff.
But I think he's gonna create a big enough lead early on to where, you know, the Bucs are just gonna roll with him.
And then if Bucky starts catching fire at some point during the season, maybe they start giving him some more touches and whatnot.
But I do think Kenny G is gonna be the guy throughout training camp, throughout the preseason, and then into the regular season
