What is your philosophy on playing starters in the preseason?
I think, uh, every team is different.
What your team needs, uh, can be different year to year.
Uh, I do think in general, it's good to play in the preseason.
Now, the number of plays varies, uh, of course, and, uh, we'll really, Treat the first game and the 3rd game as games that will play some of our starters in the 2nd game, uh, you know, we're going over to Indianapolis to practice versus the Colts, uh, for a couple of days.
So , uh, the majority, the majority of the reps versus the Colts will go to our starters.
So those guys will not play in that 2nd game.
Uh, but we'll work through our plan for the 1st and 3rd game.
But in general, I think guys, uh, to get ready to play football, you got to play football.
Could you see if Tua and Mike both playing in those games?
We'll see when we get to those games.
Uh, but again, we'll have those type of discussions leading into every game, but.
Uh, by and large, we'll, we'll have a plan, uh, that, that will vary based on what we feel like that player needs to get ready for the season.
Do you think about the fans being here at all, like fans today, first day, like, does that, oh, I love it.
Yeah, I mean, our guy, I love it.
Our guys love it.
I can promise you, the second, uh, you have the crowd out there, it brings a level of intensity, brings a level of excitement to what we do.
Uh, I, I think they bring the juice for us.
So I, I love that they're here.
I love that they're on the hill.
Um, I told the guys last night and You talked about going over there to sign autographs, uh, for our guys.
Like I was that kid, you know, I, I know what that feels like, uh, and it's so spe it's can be a special moment for them.
So we wanna do our part and, and, and thank them for supporting us.
The least we can do is go over there and, and say hello, take a picture, sign an autograph.
