Kyler Murray and the Minnesota Vikings feel like a perfect match
Chris Bumbaca and Jacob Camenker explain why the Minnesota Vikings make sense as a landing spot for Kyler Murray, including his potential fit with head coach Kevin O'Connell.

Kyler Murray released by the Arizona Cardinals as they fully bottom out in their rebuild.
All signs pointing to a Murray destination in Minneapolis with the Minnesota Vikings.
Kevin O'Connell, the head coach, JJ McCarthy entering year three of his rookie contract.
How do we feel about this?
I personally like it because I think you're taking a chance at, on Kyler Murray at his lowest value.
He's going to sign for a veteran minimum contract, one-year deal.
He has to prove himself, and he's going to Minnesota, which is a place that has infrastructure ready to support a quarterback.
Now you have Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison, TJ Hawkinson, Aaron Jones is back, the offensive line is decent.
Yeah, they have a need at center because Ryan Kelly retired after being unable to stay healthy, but they're not many pieces away from having a top-end offense.
And we've seen gu- veteran guys like Sam Darnold find success in Kevin O'Connell's system.
So I think you're bringing in Murray at an all-time low value.
You just see, "Hey, can I develop this guy back into the Pro Bowler he was early in his career?"
And if you can't, he's just gonna leave after the season 'cause he's a free agent.
So I, I really, really like this move for them, and I think it's perfect because it gives them the opportunity to bring in competition for JJ McCarthy, but also guarantees that they'll keep both around and just say, "Hey, we're gonna treat this like a true quarterback competition."
It reminds me a lot of what the Colts did with Daniel Jones and Anthony Richardson last year.
And you know, if Kyler Murray has as good a season as Daniel Jones did last season in Indianapolis, I think Minnesota fans will be ecstatic.
I know that sounds like a weird thing to say if you go back to the 2019 NFL Draft when that was unfolding, but hey, I, I kinda like that, comparison here
