What are your thoughts on that duo as a, as a linebacker for?
Yeah, on paper it looks great.
Everyone's excited about it.
I'm excited about it, but they got gel and they come together and, and Raiders.
We'll work on that.
How much do you think?
And I go back to watching Michael at at Notre Dame and he's always open, catches everything.
He's extremely unselfish in the run game, so he's had a really positive start to be expected.
U, uh, the, you know, use that H-backs, you know, position a lot in Seattle and also in other places, you know, when you take a guy like Connor Hayward, how valuable is he not only in the passing game, but also just in getting the run game going as well?
I think your fullback has to be one of the smartest players on the team, you know, for us to be able to, you know , block the two-back run game and block the dropback protections and to play all the special teams, you got to be in great shape and you got to be really smart.
Connor's made a really good first impression.
Uh, Patrick Gert's pushing him as well.
Love the competition there.
I know you have a plan for Jamal McCoy, but what have you seen from him so far for the 3 days?
Yeah, I think he's been available for 3 days, which is a really positive start.
So just keep stacking days.
We'll keep monitoring his mileage and just see how he comes and recovers the next day.
But to see him out there, you know, getting as much work as he's getting, uh, has been.
Fernando said that he's feeling more comfortable out there, but he's still a ways away from where he wants to be.
Just where do you want to see him still grow?
Yeah, I love the mindset that he has.
That's all our players should have.
Nobody has arrived.
Um, Especially a rookie quarterback.
So you just keep giving them, give them a new rep every day and coach from it and then go back the next day, solve the problem, and go to work fixing new problems.
So, um, he's just like everybody else, that's, that's kind of earn their way.
