Luis, we all know how much work you've put into playing second base.
To, for that to be kind of part of making the All-Star team again, what does that mean to you?
It means a lot.
It means a lot when you put, put a lot of work and, a lot of, a lot of people appreciate your work, and then, I mean, I love my job.
I love my job.
If I play for whatever team, I just go in there and then do my job and put my 100% every day.
Luis, Logan described you as one of the hardest workers he's ever played with.
What, I mean, what, what's the backstory there?
Why, why are you such a hard worker?
It's good to hear.
It's good to hear, and then, especially Logan, I face him a lot, and I know he compete a lot, too.
And, facing him, it's made me, like, I need to compete.
So I love Like I say, I love my job.
I come here every day and then work hard, and then let's see what happen later.
But Logan is one of those guys you wanna, you wanna be with him on the team.
Is there someone that's been influential as to why you work so hard as a baseball player?
What did you say, sorry?
Is there someone that's been an influence for you as to why you work so hard as a baseball player?
Logan?
No, just in general.
In general, yes.
especially Nelson Cruz, and then now I have here Ro Washington.
He's still working.
Look, he's still working.
He never stop.
He, he got same energy every day.
He is smiling every day.
He know baseball is hard.
He know, I mean, our body's not at the same every single day, and then he's coming here every day and then put work, work with us.
And, yeah, having Nelson Cruz, having my, my guys in, in Miami, Cellis, my trainers, Glen, and then a lot of people, especially Rainer Olmedo, he, he fixed my, my defense, too, and then now I practice my defense.
I do every time with Ro Washington.
He, he help me a lot.
Everybody know.
So I'm excited to be here, and then nothing.
Just play the game and respect the game.
Does this mean anything more to you?
You didn't make the last two, and now you're totally healthy again- Yeah to be back there.
Yeah.
I wasn't healthy last year.
I got concussion.
I almost pass out , but like I say, we have another opportunity, especially this year, to, to work hard and then, and then try to do my best in second base, and then that's what I do right now.
So try to be resource, try to compete, try to do the little things to help the team win.
Everybody know we no play good baseball right now, but baseball is like that.
Baseball is up and down, and then you just need to keep, keep continue to work hard and then, and then enjoying.
What was it like having Tony give you the news today?
Oh, that, that was amazing, especially receive it from Tony, and, I think he got two All-Star players now, and, he deserve it.
He Look, he pitching, batting practice right now, and then he work hard.
He repa- he respect us.
His first year this year, but he, he one of the, he one of the, the best manager I have right now.
So he got energy every single day, so I really appreciate him.
How proud was Wash when he heard the news about you?
He was very excited, and, he say a lot of good things to me, and I really appreciate Wash.
He's, he like grand- my, my grandfather right now.
So I love him, and then, I just wanna say God bless him, and then I, I gotta enjoy him right now.

Just what's your favorite part of the entire experience?
Yeah, it's my fourth.
Thanks God.
I think my favorite part is going the red carpet with my family, hold the hand with my daughters, my wife, especially my sister who gonna be here.
My mom and my dad, they are in Venezuela, so I hope they fly here, but it's hard, you know, guys, what are we doing, we do- w- what are we pass right now in Venezuela.
But, yeah, the good part for me just walk with my family in the red carpet.
and, nothing, meet players there and then having fun, like I say.
