Luis, when you first got traded to Philadelphia, what was your initial reaction when you found out?
Ooh, I got like five days I don't sleep, and then finally I get to sleep.
I was No, I, I was surprised the Philly trade for me, but I'm, I'm really excited to be here.
I'm happy, and I can't wait to, to go there today and show.
What are your impressions of Philadelphia before you came here?
Did you have any, any knowledge of the city, of what type of culture is here, and a- all of that stuff?
I fight these guys, since 2023 when I here for my cycle, my first cycle here.
And then I remember in, in the playoff game, they beat us, I was with Miami, and then the fans was so loud and then I never forgot.
What do you think of looking at the hitters in this lineup and the fact that you're batting cleanup?
It's a lot of damage there.
Wow.
A lot of power, a lot of, a lot of players, a lot of star, and then I can't wait to go there and then show th- this guy and then give my everything.
Just try to put, to put my energy and then try to help the team win.
What does it mean to you that this team wanted you so bad that so many guys are moving positions and they still went out and traded for you to try to push them over the edge?
Is that- That's a pro.

It's a lot of respect, especially to Stock, Bryce Harper, MVP, and then he moved for me, and then it's, it's a lot of, it's a lot of respect for me.
For, for the Phillies fans who maybe haven't seen you play a ton, what will you bring to the lineup every day?
What will you bring to the field every day?
I think my energy.
My energy.
I just wanna go there and then try to put my energy every single day.
If I see somebody sleeping, I say, "Hey, let's go.
Let's win this game."
When, when you do rarely strike out, is that something you like to remember?
Feel terrible.
Yeah.
Feel terrible.
I mean, when I was kid, I, I starting cry, but now I'm professional.
I just try to hold and then try to move on and then focus on the next at bat.
You, you have a few guys here that you're kind of reuniting with.
Are you excited to be back with Durn, Luzardo, and some of the guys you- yeah.
And then De La Cruz.
I mean, those guy.
And then now I don't have to face Christopher Sanchez, one of the He's so nasty, and then now we are teammates, so I'm, really excited.
