Do you guys remember when ESPN put out a poll of the top ten quarterbacks across the NFL, and everyone was all kinds of mad about where Patrick Mahomes checked in?
I've got good news for you.
Anyway, yeah, Mahomes comes in first on The Athletic from Mike Sando.
Their poll of fifty executives and coaches across thirty-five veteran quarterbacks in the NFL, Mahomes all by his lonesome in first place.
And it just goes to show that raw production is not the be-all end-all.
There is a fear factor, an intangibles factor, a resume factor, and those things all end up coming into play for Mahomes, who comes in in sole possession of first place on this quarterback poll.
Now, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but consensus appears to be these are your top five quarterbacks or so in the NFL, and you can generally order them in whatever order you want and have some semblance of an argument.
But when it comes to resume, Mahomes is in a class of his own
