So let's turn to what is a very important series for one team, and that would be the Seattle Mariners visiting the Los Angeles Dodgers.
A series where the Mariners really need to get two out of three, and it's not something that many teams can do, which is take two out of three for the Dodgers.
But after a couple losses versus the Rangers in their most recent series, the Sunday results to be determined, and the Astros surging right now in the AL West, it has left the Mariners searching for some wins and, and falling a f- a bit further behind in the standings.
Also combined with the fact that the Red Sox have been super hot, that this pushes the Mariners down when it comes to the AL wild card overall.
So looking at the pitching matchups for this one, Emerson Hancock, as we talked about before with Craig, that his name is apparently in some trade conversations.

This is going to be a tough, tough matchup, a tough, tough series overall because we can say that Eric Lauer and Roki Sasaki certainly haven't been the top-tier pitchers, but it's not as if Luis Castillo has been the former ace of himself.
So yes, the Dodgers are going to be favored in every one of these series, but if the Mariners cannot take two out of three, I think it might be curtains for them in this season because the Astros are surging, although it may be some smoke and mirrors.
