Yeah, Mark.
So from a results standpoint, that was Springs' best outing, you know, since May.
What'd you like, you know, what you saw in him tonight?
I thought Jeff did a nice job.
Obviously, you know, his first time back off the IL, you know, to get into the sixth inning, and, and really have command of everything tonight.
You know, a couple walks that he was upset with, but outside of that, I thought he managed the game great, gave us a chance to win.
He was able to work around, you know, some trouble.
But from your vantage point, did you see him do anything different tonight than maybe what, you know, he wasn't doing before on the mound?
Not I don't think I saw anything different.
I mean, he was obviously sharper, you know, with his, with all pitches.
I think he had command, of the slider really well.
He kept the ball down tonight.
The ground ball double play off Garcia that he rolled, I thought was an excellent, pitch to get out of that inning and, and clean up, you know, a tough situation.
And you talking a little bit on the mound there for, for a while.
Was, was he trying to lobby you in to, to get through six?
No, I mean, I just wanted to make sure he felt good.
Obviously, you know, he gave us everything he had.
We talked about it pre-game that he was gonna go, you know, in or around 80 to 85 pitches.
We just felt it was a good exit point for him, based on just not, you know, not having gone out and done six innings in a while.
Yeah, the lineup, you know, great production tonight, you know, especially at the top, you know, Jeff, Henry, Zack.
I th- yeah, I thought our offense did a great job tonight.
It's unfortunate, you know, we've got some bullpen issues right now that guys are getting an opportunity and not taking advantage of it.
And, you know, last night we went through a tough, tough night with, with Hogan and, and, and Medina using a lot of pitches, which were unavailable tonight.
So, you know, your options are limited, and, and those guys are down there.
They're in the big league pen.
They, they need to go get the job done.
Yeah.
And does that What kind of effect, you know, does it have on a big league clubhouse when, you know, you have these games?
It's tough.
There's no question.
You've got leads back to back days, and, feel like you got a chance to win a game, and we can't get it done.
You know, it's tough, but they showed up today, and, and, after last night, came out and, and played with a lead the whole game.
And, you know, to, to show the fight in the, in the ninth inning with Montas' two-run homer to get us back to two runs, give us a chance, you know, Henry running the ball out.
Like, there, there's no quit in this, in these guys.
