Let's get started about the eighth inning.
Just how were y'all able to get some, like, get the at bats going, get to the bullpen there?
Yeah, I mean, I thought the, obviously McNeil leading off with a hit.
The go off that bat was really one that kinda led, I think, to the inning.
And then obviously Alika coming off the bench and laying down a great bunt.
So, you know, the wild pitch, obviously helped, but Lawrence is at bat putting the ball in play really hard.
You know, I just thought the inning, momentum of the inning really carried through, right?
And each at bat, each guy that went up there did their job, executing, you know, the at bats, and, and getting us a lead.
Just the, the fight in this team, you guys are in every game it feels like.
To, to get, come through there at the end, what does that say about the group?
Yeah, no, it, it definitely says a lot about the group.
I mean, you know, we know where we're at and, it, it, there's, there's, there's no quit, like you said.
We're not gonna quit.
We, we owe it to the fans, we owe it to the organization, to, the group of guys in that clubhouse, to each other, to finish this year as strong as we can, and, again, that showed tonight.
And then Lopez, just the way he pitched tonight, that slider in particular was just tough.
Yeah, big swing and miss slider tonight.
I thought he had everything working.
You know, I think when you can handle this lineup as a lefty, I think this club's had some success against left-handed pitching, overall.
But for, for Jacob tonight, he continued the way he's been throwing the baseball.
He's a different kid right now, and I think that, we're seeing a m- a maturity, you know, that we've been waiting on, in all aspects, and, tonight it showed.
And everything they hit off him, any, any ball in play was hit soft again tonight.
Yeah, a lot of soft contact.
You know, that's just execution of his pitches and changing speeds, getting hitters out front, off balance.
He did it all night.
And then, tomorrow the starter, do you have that yet?
