you know, last night, the story of the night was the bullpen, you know, shutting it down.
Tonight, just what'd you kinda see out there after, JT again left that game?
Yeah, I mean, you know, a mistake, from Barlow to Happ on, on the, the breaking ball that just left up, and Leiter did a nice job.
you know, Kuhl's had success in that closing role.
He's gotten outs for us.
you know, the leadoff hit gave him some momentum.
, you know, tough play for us to make up the middle.
you know, we had a chance to end the game there, and again, you know, any time you, you just give extra outs, it's, tough, to finish it off, you know.
lotta contact in the ninth, and, bringing Medina in felt like we had a chance to, to punch Swanson out with, with Medina's stuff.
didn't get the strikeout on it, you know.
you tip your cap.
I mean, they're, they're professionals.
They've been in big moments.
you know, they took some good at-bats, and, unfortunately we end up on the wrong end of this one.
That's a tough way to end the series, but can you kind of separate that and, and take in the series as a whole and being able to come in- Yeah, I mean, we played really good baseball, this series against a good team.
you know, we, obviously, you know, let one slip away today.
We got back in a game yesterday, that we fought hard for, and, they did the same today on us.
you know, it's, unfortunate that we dropped this game, but, w- we walk away with two wins in a, in a series on, on the road in, in a tough environment.
It seems like Gin's stacking up these outings like this, what'd you think of his performance today?
Yeah, again was exceptional again.
you know, one, one pitch to, to Crow that, he left up, but outside of that I thought he just had a, he had a dominating performance tonight, you know, six innings and, shoot, I think seven strikeouts at least.
So, you know, great job by JT, gave us a chance to win the game.
Just for Shea, obviously a home run inside the park.
Just, how impressive is that of a night for him?
Yeah, you know, on that ball, to Crow, I mean, it's uncomfortable when you're out there and you don't see it.
And, and I give credit to Shea.
He busted out of the box, and, you know, to see a catcher hit a inside the park home run, is pretty impressive.
But, good night for Shea.
offense overall, I thought we took some good at-bats, you know, and, you know, we'll move forward to Houston series.
