You know, I thought getting some of the better stuff he's had in a while, and, you know, I think overall they took some good at bats.
They, they got his pitch count up.
You know, the two leadoff walks really came back to hurt him.
And, that's kind of the story.
I think overall, you know, he pitched really well.
It gave us a Still gave us an opportunity to win.
Like I said, you know, the, the, the walk to Paredes and then the, the double down the line, he got himself out of that jam with only giving up one run.
The walk to Allen, really, you know, that's the one that kinda come back to hurt you.
So, you know, I think the only contact that was made off JT tonight that was an exit velo over 100 was Alvarez's ball into the right center gap.
So, you know, outside of that, I, I thought he threw the ball pretty well.
What would you say about his ability to get a lot of soft contact out there?
Yeah, I mean, his sinker was, was on tonight.
He had, he had everything working really, which, which is a sign, you know, that he's feeling good.
And, you know, again, like I said, that they, they did foul some balls off.
They, they worked a couple deep counts early on, and they got his pitch count up to get him out after five.
And offensively, was that more Wisniewski or- Yeah, I mean, obviously Wisniewski's, sweeper is, is a, is a plus, plus pitch.
You know, guys were coming back and, the, the horizontal movement was great.
You know, we didn't square a ball up really.
And you know, obviously their bullpen has pitched, pitched well.
So it's tough when you, when you get behind, to, you know, when the bullpen comes in and, and does a good job.

JT, just how did you feel tonight?
I felt good.
You know, I thought I made some good pitches.
You know, they, they had some balls that found some holes, but you know, overall I felt good.
The first inning's been a little bit of an issue for you it seems, for you this season, being able to get through the first.
Did you feel like you settled down there?
I mean, I kind of attack every, you know, game the same way.
I don't really, you know, put too much thought into that, but yeah.
And then walks both in the fourth and fifth inning, those seem to be the killer.
Yeah, yeah.
Both walks scored, you know.
Especially, you know, bottom of the lineup walks, you can't really have that.
So you know, do a better job of attacking those guys.
Sinker felt really good tonight, I'm assuming.
Yeah.
Was there a reason just why you threw it half the time?
Yeah, I mean, you know, primarily right-handed lineup, you know, anytime there's a bunch of righties in there, I think my sinker is probably my best pitch, so I'm gonna throw it a lot more the more righties are in the lineup.
You got a lot of soft contact.
I think the hardest hit ball was that one that went on.
Yeah.
Just, how pleased are you to be able to be doing that?
Yeah, I mean, I think I went out there and, you know, pitched my game.
That's what I do is try to get soft contact and, you know, f- force early swings.
So, you know, they didn't bounce my way this way, this today unfortunately.
But, you know, keep going out there and attacking the same way that I do.
How difficult is it to face Shohei Ohtani?
Great hitter, you know, obviously.
I mean, he's, you know, on the verge of winning a Triple Crown, you know, probably one of the best hitters in the league, if not the best hitter in the league.
So anytime you can face those guys, it's, it's fun and exciting, you know.
You know you gotta make your pitches.
