How's, JT doing today?

JT is, he's made improvements every day.

It's just, it's gonna take a little bit longer than what we anticipated, so we're gonna put JT on the IL today.

There'll be a corresponding move shortly.

Okay.

Yeah.

I know you said- Right elbow inflammation.

Oh.

Just kind of impingement was kind of what we're dealing with.

Which, you know, it's, it's the best of the, you know, worst-case scenario.

We're gonna He, he, he's feeling good enough to, you know, continue to play catch and, and possibly, you know, make a start or, you know, that last week of the season really.

I think that's what our goal is- Yeah if things progress the way they've been progressing, so.

Yeah.

So keeping the door open for Yeah, we're gonna keep him, the door open for him to possibly make a return, and pitch for us before the season ends.

Good.

I know that you said Tommy White might be available yesterday.

Is it the same case today?

Available off the bench today.

Okay.

Always with these back things, I wouldn't say that I'm an expert in the back, but I've had- You're the expert my fair share of back injuries.

You know, it's always, when you feel good, it's always good to maybe take another day or two to really let it, you know, fully heal.

Get your strength fully under you before you kind of crank it back up.

I will tell you, he's in left field for the first time today.

He was in right field for the first time not too long ago.

What's it like for a guy who, maybe has played center field most, most of his Major League career moving out there?

And can there be, like, an adjustment period with a guy like Denzel?

Both those guys can cover a lot of ground.

It's probably a good thing to have out there, but at the same time, you're losing, I guess, two center fielders in some way.

Yeah.

I mean, obviously, you know, left field can be, a, a little bit challenging if you haven't been out there.

I think he played left very early in his pro career.

So there could be an adjustment period for him.

Them playing together in the outfield, obviously getting communication and getting to know each other, is another aspect of it.

You know, again, I think we're really athletic out there, which is a, you know, great thing, especially with this ballpark and, you know, generally how the, how the ball plays.

They get a chance to go run it down.

With, kind of Springs haven't had a great year.

He's had some success against the Mariners, especially pitching here.

Is that something where, especially on a day like today where the bullpen's been used so much the last few days, hoping to get, whatever length out of him?

Yeah, we're definitely hoping to get length out of him.

I mean, we might have to push him, in a game that we're down in, because of the fact that our bullpen's been taxed pretty hard.

So, we do have, you know, a couple guys down there that can come in behind him, in terms of length with Joey being here.

You know, we may have to use Tur in a leverage situation today, which he hasn't pitched in leverage at the big league level, based on, you know, other guys being a little sore and, and, having pitched quite a bit lately.

I know, Morris is down.

Can potentially go on the IL, and Perkins' down.

Kind of wait and see how the, those rotation spo- spots get filled?

Yeah.

We'll definitely, we'll, we'll wait.

You know, have a better idea tomorrow as to how we're gonna kinda go forward in the, in the Toronto series.

Obviously Jump goes tomorrow for us.

Lopez will go Monday.

You know, we'll, we'll fill Tuesday, Wednesday with, with guys that, obviously we'll know more about tomorrow.

Is there a pitcher on the way today?

Do you, you, you're gonna announce a move later you said?

Yeah, we'll announce a move later.

So, as far as, a pitcher coming here, we've, you know, we optioned Morris for Seth Johnson.

Seth's been here.

He, he's got a, you know, a big arm.

He's another guy that, may be thrown into the fire tonight in a, in a leverage spot with, you know, he threw a couple games in Triple-A, had some, got some outs, and, he's back here and getting another opportunity to, to, take advantage of this, you know, situation right now.
