Mauricio Ruffy calls Arman Tsarukyan ‘toughest challenger’ ahead of UFC 331
Mauricio Ruffy will face Arman Tsarukyan in the UFC 331 five-round co-main event on Sept. 19 in Los Angeles, a matchup defined by Tsarukyan's elite wrestling and Ruffy's bid to keep the fight standing. The Brazilian lightweight said he had been training extensively before the bout was finalized, including time in Thailand after UFC Freedom 250. In comments to UFC on Paramount, Ruffy emphasized action over talk and expressed respect for Tsarukyan. He called Tsarukyan among the division's toughest challengers and noted wrestling would be a major factor. The co-main event is scheduled for Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
